Ofsted & the CQC are carrying out their inspection of the SEND provision that NCC provide

Make sure your voice is heard.

There are a number of ways in which you can get this to happen.

However time is running out.

TODAY - Tuesday 3rd March

The deadline for this is midnight TODAY - Tuesday 3rd March!

You can take part at anytime with the Webinar, up until the deadline of midnight on 3rd March.

It will take about 30 minutes to complete.  Once you start it, you cannot leave it and then come back to it.  You must complete it in one go.

We have put together some information on our website about the sort of things you will be asked so you can have a think about it before you start.  We would recommend reading it first.

Meetings at Educational Settings

There are 14 educational settings across Norfolk that are being visited by Ofsted/CQC Inspectors.  These visits will be taking place on Wednesday 4th and Thursday 5th March.

If your child attends one of these settings you can meet the inspector who is visiting.  Your setting should have already been in touch with further details about the day and time this will be happening.  If they have not, make sure you contact them today and find out when it is taking place.

You can ONLY attend these meetings if your child currently attends

  • City College, Norwich
  • Sidestrand Hall School
  • Chapel Green School
  • Churchill Park Complex Needs School
  • Short Stay School for Norfolk (Douglas Bader)
  • City Academy,  Norwich

Family Voice Flyer

If you can not make one of the meetings and you would like to feedback directly, you can email the inspectors.  Make sure you clearly state at the start of your email that you are feeding back as part of the SEND Inspection currently taking place at Norfolk Council Council and that you live in Norfolk

[email protected]

We will be sending feedback ourselves.  If you are not happy about personally emailing Ofsted and would prefer us to collect your feedback to ensure it remains anonymous.

You can email us directly: [email protected]

BUT please make sure this is with us by the evening of Wednesday 4th March as we will be sending our information off on Thursday morning.

We have put together a 5 minute tick box survey which we will use in our feedback so it contains up-to-date data.  If you can do this for us as well, we would hugely appreciate it.

5 minute Survey

Remember Ofsted and the CQC can only make a judgement on what they see and get told.  We know finding the time to feedback is hard, but this is the time to get your voice heard!
